A repair may make sense if:
- Your system has only recently stopped working.
- The tank is not leaking or badly rusted.
- The issue is with a thermostat, heating element, valve, pilot light or electrical fault.
- The system has been reliable until now.
- The repair cost is reasonable compared with a full replacement.
- Parts are available and the system can be restored safely.
Many emergency hot water problems can be repaired on the same day, especially when the issue is caused by a failed valve, heating element, thermostat, tempering valve, gas component or electrical fault.
